"More than 1 in every 100 Americans now behind bars"-- whenever I saw this on msnbc.com I almost died! That is absolutely ridiculous. Why do people have to do stuff to be put in jail? This country provides assistance (food stamps, welfare, medical cards, etc.) People shouldn't have to steal in order to live. RIDICULOUS!
